Patricia C. Remmer Advocacy Awards
Patricia C. Remmer served as the Remmer Family Foundation President from which the FCGI was formed. She advocated for girls and the need for gender responsive programs. Pat recognized that it takes dedicated and talented adults to truly impact the gender gap and make a difference in girls’ lives.
The nomination form is simple. Please submit applications by mail or email.
DEADLINE: April 2, 2012, 5 p.m.
· A Selection Committee will review the applications. Awardees and their organizations will be contacted the week of April 16.
· Awardees and a guest from their organization will be invited to the May 4, 2012 Growing Great Girls Event with author Rosalind Wiseman.
An award presentation ceremony will take place as part of the luncheon portion of the event.
Awardees will receive $250 and a custom award; the sponsor organization will
receive $500 to use towards a program or activity.
